At the Sarah Chudnow Campus, each resident is an individual with unique goals and capabilities. Services are designed to provide the support that is needed to maintain the independence of each resident. Programs provide services tailored for each individual. Staff members at the Sarah Chudnow Campus provide customized services for the residents, whether they have short-term needs or require support for a longer duration. Residents may choose from two options in assisted living: supportive service in the individual's apartment or more inclusive services in the assisted living residences.
Supportive Services
With the same amenities and options as the Independent Living residents, Assisted Living residents may choose a one-, two- or three-bedroom apartment. If Supportive Services are requested, the Registered Nurse will assess the resident and, together with the resident, design a service plan. This team may choose from an assortment of additional support services based on the resident needs. Support services may include: assistance with acts of daily living, bathing, medication administration, additional meals, diabetes management or other services, each of which is delivered under the supervision of a nurse. Whether this support is needed for a short time or for a more extended period, the resident continues to participate in the community and "age in place."
