CHAI POINT ASSISTED LIVING OPTIONS
Chai Point recognizes that each resident is an individual with unique goals
and capabilities. Chai Point Assisted Living services are designed to
provide the support that is needed to maintain the independence each
resident wants. Programs provide services tailored for each individual. Chai
Point is a leader in the provision of customized services for the residents
whether they have short-term needs or if they require support for a longer
duration. Residents may choose from two options in assisted living:
Residential Care Apartment or Community Based Residential Facility.
Residential Care Apartment
These apartments are located throughout the building on the fourth through
the tenth floors. With the same amenities and options as the Independent
living residents, RCA residents may choose a one, two or three bedroom
apartment. The Registered Nurse will assess each resident and together with
the resident design a service plan. This team may choose from an assortment
of additional support services based on the resident needs. Support services
may include: assistance with acts of daily living, bathing, medication
administration, additional meals, diabetes management or other services each
of which is delivered under the supervision of a nurse. Whether this support
is needed for a short time or for a more extended period, the resident
continues to participate in the community and “age in place”.
Community Based Residential Facility
This CBRF assisted living option provides more extensive support and is on
the second and third floors. Living accommodations may be a studio or a
one-bedroom apartment. Three meals a day, nursing services, and housekeeping
are inclusive in the room rate. Amenities for these apartments are the same
as for the independent apartments. Residents are encouraged to remain active
and maintain as much independence as possible. There is a wonderful sense of
warmth and community among the residents and the professional staff.
The assisted living options are offered in comfortable private apartments,
with spectacular views of Lake Michigan. Chai Point is staffed with
attendants who not only provide personal assistance, but also truly care for
each resident. With a medical clinic and fully equipped rehabilitation
department onsite, the residents have peace of mind for the present as well
as the future. If you would like to arrange a tour or want more information,
feel free to call Marketing Manager at 414-277-8802
The Lakeside Senior Enrichment Program offers kosher noon meal along with

site is sponsored by the Milwaukee County Department on Aging, the Jewish
Federation and the Jewish Home Foundation.

classes. As a Certified provider of PACE (People with Arthritis Can
Exercise) classes, the center offers opportunities for participants to
